Energy Werx is Doing its Part to Support the Skills and Training Needed to Aid in the Clean BC Initiative

British Columbia is facing significant economic challenges. A report titled A New Economic Narrative for BC highlights the declining importance of natural resources to the province's revenue base and recommends prioritizing education and training in areas that drive growth in the knowledge-based economy and capture better data to inform decision-making.

We must embrace the clean economic transition worldwide, which offers huge opportunities for BC. Merran Smith, Clean Energy Canada's Executive Director, stated that BC can create a sustainable and prosperous economy by combining the CleanBC climate plan and an ambitious economic plan that prioritizes long-term growth in key industries.

Energy Werx expands to BC to support strong provincial growth

Energy Werx Inc has expanded its home energy evaluation company from Ontario into British Columbia(bc.energywerx) to support the projected growth. Todd Downey, President of the company, states that "when we were looking for expansion, it made sense to focus our efforts in British Columbia." To support CleanBC and its long-term growth, we are developing our knowledge-based professional group of advisors in the province.
